# Workspaces

> Your company's account in Iron Octopus: its members, projects and billing.

A workspace is your company's account in Iron Octopus. It's where your team works together and where your plan is billed. Everything else, from projects to features, lives inside a workspace.

## What it contains

* **Members**, the people who can work in it, and **teams** to group them.
* **Projects**, one for each app.
* **Settings** that apply across your projects: billing, AI, usage, and the rules every project starts with.

## Roles

Each member has a role in the workspace:

| Role | Typically |
| - | - |
| Owner | Owns the workspace and its billing. |
| Admin | Manages members, settings and projects. |
| Member | Works in projects: describes ideas, approves plans and releases. |
| Guest | Has limited access. |

## Where you see it

* Your workspace's name sits at the top of your Home page.
* **Workspace settings** hold members, teams, billing, AI and usage.
* If you belong to more than one workspace, you can switch between them.

## What you can do

* Invite members and set up teams.
* Manage your plan and billing.
* Choose how AI is provided: included with your plan, or your own provider account.
* Change a rule for every project at once.
